NorthPointe Celebrates 3rd Anniversary and Merry Prairie Luminary Walk
NorthPointe Health and Wellness Campus in Roscoe is celebrating their third anniversary with many family-friendly events scheduled for Friday, December 3 from 4-7 p.m. One of the main events is the Merry Prairie Luminary Walk, a beautiful outdoor stroll around the pond surrounded by hundreds of glowing luminaries.
"We wanted to do something special to thank the community for their avid support during our three years of service," comments Gus Larson, NorthPointe Campus Director. "Plus, we are offering a variety of family activities to kick-off the holiday season and support the annual Rockton Christmas Walk weekend."
Some of the activities include the Merry Prairie Luminary Walk which is a half-mile outdoor walk around the NorthPointe pond and waterfall. The paved path will be lined with over 500 glowing luminaries and the air will be filled with holiday music.
A holiday coloring opportunity is taking place right now for children up to the third grade. Coloring sheets can be picked up at NorthPointe or found in some of the area schools. The community room at NorthPointe will have all the artwork displayed in gallery formation during the December 3rd event and winners will be named.
The Alleluia Quartet will be performing at 5:30 p.m., prior to the tree lighting at 6 p.m. NorthPointe Wellness is offering 100% off the membership enrollment fee during the Open House, which can be up to a $300 savings on a family membership. In addition, the Spa at NorthPointe will be hosting an Open House featuring some of their special massages, facials, and health treatments.
