Patient Stories
"They gave me the feeling that their only concern was my well being."
You have a very dedicated staff of professional people working at the hospital. My stay was as comfortable as it could have possibly been. It was evident from the check-in person in emergency to the volunteer person who helped me to the car. I have to say that I left more informed and more knowledgable about my particular health problems.
Excerpts from a letter sent by Ron Perry, Beloit
"I hope the people in this area truly appreciate how fortunate we are to have such a competent and committed staff of professionals."
To Dr. Leo Egbujiobi and Dr. Peter Marks, and all the employees associated with the critical care unit at Beloit Hospital, I would like to send my heartfelt thanks and gratitude to each and every one of you for the most professional care and sincere concern extended to me during my recent open heart surgery.
Excerpts from a letter sent by Joan Drinkwater, Beloit
"The care I received at Beloit Clinic and Beloit Hospital was very special and caring."
It really showed that there are people who really care about people. It takes someone to really put all their heart and soul into their work. Oh yes, maybe someone will say they are paid for what they do. Sure they are, but they are just great to me. Many thanks to each and everyone there. They'll always be in my heart."
Excerpts from a letter sent by Frank and Phyllis Ehrenberg, Janesville
"They were sincere and really meant what they were saying."
The staff at the hospital are outstanding, and the care is exceptional from the doctors to the CNA's and housekeeping. My nurse, Karon and a CNA named Megan were both so very kind and supportive...above and beyond my expectations.
Every single staff member who came into contact with me always said, "If you need or want anything, just let me know." The difference was that I knew they were sincere and really meant what they were saying.
Excerpts from a letter sent by Nancy Graham, Beloit. Nancy was happy to get back to good health so she could get back to playing her guitar and singing in her church choir.
"What an asset Beloit Hospital and NorthPointe are to our Community"
I have had the privilege of living and working in the Beloit area my entire life. I've enjoyed a nursing career that spanned over 40 years and culminated in my retirement after servicing 34 years in the field of Public Health in Beloit and Rock County.
I bring this up to emphasize that after many years of being in the role of providing health care services, I recently found myself very suddenly and unexpectedly becoming a healthcare patient. While at NorthPointe Wellness Center, I experienced a life-threatening medical emergency. The very competent medical staff at NorthPointe addressed my immediate medical needs in preparation for my transfer to Beloit Memorial Hospital. Within hours of my arrival at the hospital, I underwent successful surgery.
Words cannot adequately express the gratitude I have for all the excellent care I received at NorthPointe and Beloit Memorial Hospital Critical Care and third floor. Every staff person who cared for me was knowledgeable, professional and caring.
What an asset NorthPointe and Beloit Memorial Hospital are to this community! I will continue to sing your praises from a very personal perspective and "Thank You" to each and everyone who helped make my return home possible.
A very special note of thanks to Dr. Frey, Dr. Charles and Dr. Gold who exemplify the spirit and practice of medicine.
