Emergency Room Expansion
Whatever our health, age, income level, or insurance coverage, any one of us might find ourselves in the ER at Beloit Memorial Hospital—possibly even in a life or death situation. The value of having an Emergency Room that can respond immediately to sudden threats to our own health or to the health of our family, friends, and neighbors is clear.
Currently the hospital faces significant challenges in its efforts to provide excellent emergency care. Our Emergency Room is now functioning at 70% beyond its original capacity.
We need your support for a much-needed expansion of the Emergency Room so that we can continue to ensure high quality emergency care to our growing number of patients.
This expansion will be the first major remodeling since 1990. We will enlarge existing treatment rooms and create 16 new ones.We will build 6 new ambulance bays and purchase stateof- the-art diagnostic technology. And we will expand our Fast Track, General Care, and Trauma facilities to give faster and better service to our patients.
We know that the strength of Beloit Memorial Hospital springs from our community and the public we serve, as well as our outstanding healthcare team, the Hospital’s devoted volunteers, and our wonderful supporters. We all share a concern about health because healthcare touches each of us.
This virtual tour details our plans for the Emergency Room expansion. Thank you for your interest and generous continued support.
Sincerely,
Gregory K. Britton
