Total Body WorkoutWednesday Work-out

Make sure to incorporate warm-up and cool-down periods.  Take rest breaks as needed between sets.  Please check with your healthcare provider to make sure you are healthy enough for exercise.  If you have questions or need modifications to the work-out, stop by the Darien Clinic and speak with NP Betsy Press.


Repeat this sequence 3 times:

            1.         25 sit-ups                     

            2.         25 leg raises                       

            3.         25 russian twists                       

            4.         25 glute bridges                       

            5.         25 squats                 

            6.         10 lying side leg lifts per leg                       

            7.         30 second high plank

            8.         30 second low plank

            9.         20 calf-raises

            10.       100 jumping jacks


Wednesday Yum

Egg Muffins

You will need:

            12 eggs

            1 cup chopped turkey

            ¼ cup chopped green peppers

            ¼ cup of chopped spinach

            1/2 cup of chopped broccoli

            ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese


1.         Combine all ingredients in a large bowl

2.         Evenly distribute throughout 12 muffin tins

3.         Bake in 350 degree oven for approximately 25 minutes

4.         May be reheated
