Immediate Opening: Outpatient Coder – Health Information Management
This position will:
Responsible for providing accurate diagnostic and procedural codes (ICD-10,
CPT and HCPCS) to outpatient, office visit, professional claims, recurring
encounters, and/or ED visits
Responsible for accurately abstracting information from the patient’s
medical record
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
CPC, CCA, CCS or other equivalent coding certification preferred.
If not certified, certification must be obtained within one year of hire
Preferred:
Coding education courses
1 year of coding experience
