Group designed for individuals struggling with anxiety/addiction as a way of masking symptoms. This group will help people overcome social barriers, dangerous and risky behaviors, and thinking and belief patterns they normally encounter that sabotage recovery. Groups meet at 9 a.m. the 3rd Tuesday and 5 p.m. the 4th Wednesday of each month. Call Kathleen at 608-364-5686 to register.
Group designed for adults 65–100+. Pie, coffee and tea are served. We focus topics on enjoying and meeting the challenges of this phase of life. It meets the second Friday of each month from 10–11:30 a.m. in the Occupational Health and Sports Medicine Center, 1650 Lee Lane, Beloit, WI. This group is for adults ages 18+ who identify as transgender and is facilitated by Andrea Bird, MSW, LCSW. The group focuses on the support around your experience, relationships, transitioning, transphobia, safety, sexuality, coming out, etc.
