Take it to Heart Club

We understand the importance of sharing and communication. That's why we established the "Take it to Heart" Club at Beloit Health System.

Each "Take it to Heart" Club meeting will begin with a guest speaker discussing key topics relevant to heart patients. This year, we have chosen to follow th "Life's Simple 7", the American Heart Association's seven steps for achieving ideal cardiovascular health.

A short presentation on each step will allow patients and guests to learn more about how to make positive chagnes to improve their health and quality of life. The meeting will continue with a support group session where we discuss and share successes and concerns about living with heart disease. Finally, additional opportunities such as blood pressure screenings will be provided at various meetings.

Your health is important to us at Beloit Health System and we truly "take it to heart."

The following meetings are held the third Tuesday of select months from 6 to 7 pm. All heart patients and their families/friends/caretakers are welcome. There is NO COST to being a club member or attending the meetings. And there is no need to register.

October 16 - Step 6: Lose Weight, Presented by Ellen Rippl, RD
