Located on the 4th floor of Beloit Memorial Hospital, the Heart Hospital provides complete diagnostic testing, treatment – both preventative and emergent – and on-going follow-up in one convenient location.

Staffed by an experienced group of cardiothoracic surgeons, interventional cardiologists, medical cardiologists, a vascular surgeon, and more than 150 employees and support staff – care is available whenever needed.

The advanced technology and resources available in the Heart Hospital enables the heart and vascular team to perform many advanced procedures including abdominal and iliac aneurysm repair, thoracic aortic aneurysm repair, percutaneous heart valve replacement, carotid artery stenting, and lower extremity revascularization.

Comprehensive Services

The Hendricks Family Heart Hospital offers comprehensive cardiac services all in one convenient location.

  • Diagnostic Testing - including EKG, nuclear stress tests, vascular studies, echocardiography, Cardiac CT, diagnostic angiography and electrophysiology
  • Vascular Testing - venous scanning of peripheral blood vessels, to diagnostic scans of the carotid arteries
  • Therapeutic Care - Coronary angioplasty, with and without stents, peripheral angioplasty and stenting, endovascular repairs or aortic aneurysm
  • Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery - including open cardiac and bypass surgery, pacemaker implantation, implantable defibrillators, valve repairs, open aneurism repair
  • Coumadin Clinic - Anticoagulants, like Coumadin, help prevent the formation of blood clots. Regular monitoring is important to make sure the condition is appropriately treated.  For more information call:

  • Cardiac Rehabilitation - Cardiac rehab gets you back to optimal condition. Cardiac Rehabilitation, a three phase approach to getting you back to your life, is designed specifically for you and your medical needs.
    • Phase I - Immediate post "heart attack" or in-hospital rehabilitation.
    • Phase II - Post surgical, post "heart attack" or post stenting in an outpatient monitored rehabilitation program.
    • Phase III - After completing Phase II, Beloit Health System offers a continuation into a healthy lifestyle program at the NorthPointe Health and Wellness campus.
