The Family Care Center at Beloit Hospital delivers approximately 600 newborns a year, most of them routine and predictable. However, situations can arise where mom or newborn have a health concern and this is where additional expertise is especially needed. Beloit Health System’s Family Care staff is skilled and trained to provide expert testing in some important areas of infant health.
The Family Care Center offers classes to help expectant parents get ready for the new addition.
Certified instructors offer a broad range of birth education classes and a certified lactation consultant provides assistance to mothers to help ensure a successful breastfeeding experience.
