Tim McKevett, President of Beloit Health System, has been named as President and CEO, replacing Greg Britton after 25 years as serving as President and CEO.

"I'm incredibly honored, excited and humbled to be following in your footsteps," McKevett said to Britton. He added that Britton has been a great friend and mentor to McKevett since his start at the health system in 1985. Last May, he was named president of the health system.

McKevett said the vision for the future of the health system is to be the best in providing healthcare services, adding they will continue to look for strategic partnerships such as the one with UW Health and the new Cancer Center.

Britton noted that he is confident under McKevett's leadership and with the quality of staff, the system will continue to serve patients with the highest level of care and compassion.

McKevett has been with the hospital since 1985, starting when he was an undergraduate student at Beloit College. He continued to serve as assistant vice president, and then senior vice president in 1994. He earned his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin and completed the Advanced Executive Program at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.

Britton plans to spend more time with his family, hobbies and seek additional opportunities to teach and develop future leaders.
