BHS CEO to Serve on Statewide Hospital Board

Tim McKevett, President/CEO of Beloit Health System, has been elected to the Wisconsin Hospital Association (WHA) Board of Directors. WHA’s mission is to advocate on behalf of hospitals and health systems for their ability to provide high-quality health care services in the communities they serve.
McKevett joined Beloit Health System in 1985 as an administrative intern. He progressed to Vice President and Senior Vice President before being promoted to President in 2013 and President and CEO in May 2014.
McKevett currently chairs the WHA Public Policy Council and he has served on several of WHA’s task forces and committees. He serves on the American Hospital Association’s Section for Metropolitan Hospitals Governing Council, a three-year term ending in 2017.
McKevett serves as the President of Beloit 2020 and is on the Board of Directors for the Stateline Boys and Girls Club. He has served in various leadership positions for community organizations including: Community Campaign Chairman of the United Way, Chairman of the Greater Beloit Chamber of Commerce, Junior Achievement, and member of the Beloit Snapper Board of Directors.
McKevett received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics/Management from Beloit College, Beloit, WI, his Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Wisconsin and completed an Advanced Executive Program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
McKevett will begin his term with the WHA Board of Directors in January 2018.
