Area First Responders Police/Fire/EMS to Salute Healthcare Heroes in Special Tribute

BELOIT, WI. — The City of Beloit Police, Fire, EMS, and Area First Responders will be paying a special tribute to the Beloit Health System Staff in honor of their continued commitment to the Community during the COVID pandemic. Fire, EMS, and Law Enforcement Agencies from the area will be present at Beloit Memorial Hospital on Monday, December 14th. At 6 pm, First Responders, who will be stationed outdoors, will turn on vehicle lights, (no sirens), and show appreciation by applause. “This is a very meaningful tribute. We are humbled by the support and recognition of our Healthcare Heroes. Their dedication and sacrifices are unwavering, and we are proud to recognize them with this special Tribute,” commented Tim McKevett, President and CEO.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, universal masking and social distancing practices will be in effect.
Public Viewing: To avoid gathering, please remain in the safety and comfort of your own vehicle.
First Responders will be located in the Emergency Parking Lot at 5:45 pm.
