BELOIT, WI. — Beloit Health System Foundation is proud to host the 35th Annual Pro-AM Golf Event at the Beloit Club on Monday, July 27. Historically a fundraiser, 2020 is focused on thanking and honoring the Healthcare Heroes in our community.
During this national health crisis, safety measures and diligent precautions remain the top priority. Enhanced procedures include health prescreening, temperature reading, PPE use, and increased cleaning. The day will encompass 72 local amateurs teeing off for eighteen holes of golf. The celebratory evening will host a socially distanced dinner outdoors accompanied by live music. The main program will feature a video on Beloit Health System’s very own “HealthCare Heroes” and will be shared on the BHS website and social media for public viewing.
“We thank our healthcare team, and we acknowledge their ongoing dedication, commitment, and courage. We are here for you for your COVID-19 related concerns and all of your other healthcare needs. BHS continues to do everything possible to provide the best care for our patients and our community,” commented Tim McKevett, President and CEO.
Proceeds to the Foundation are thanks to the major sponsors: Bud Weiser Motors, First National Bank and Trust Company, Kerry, and Tricor Insurance.
Three Beloit car dealers will offer $10,000 to the first golfer who makes a hole-in-one on one of the par 3’s. Dealers include: Christine Bryden, Bryden Motors, Tom Finley, Finley Buick GMC, and Scott Weiser, Bud Weiser Motors.
