Did your child struggle with behavior in the classroom during the school year or have a hard time getting along with teachers and other students?

Help your child prepare for the upcoming school year by learning valuable skills, such as:

  • Communicating difficult or uncomfortable feelings
  • Eliminating angry outbursts and aggression
  • Handling teasing or rude comments from peers
  • Staying calm when confronted                         
  • Accepting criticism
  • Problem solving peacefully
  • Staying focused and participating even when not interested
  • Trying out or facing assignments or tasks that are difficult
  • Accepting “No” for an answer
  • Disagreeing respectfully
  • Learning the best way to get attention or ask for help
  • Taking responsibility for behavior
  • Staying in the classroom, not leaving, and facing difficult situations
  • Improving confidence and self-esteem.

Skills will be taught in a fun and interactive manner, using role playing, games, and art

Group open for kids ages 8-12

Thursdays from 10:30-12:00 a.m. on August, 3, 10, 17, 24, and 31
