Helping Children Understand Cancer

Beloit Health System is offering a new six week program beginning on Thursday, January 13 to help children understand their parents battle with cancer. The group will meet on Thursdays from 6- 7 p.m. and is free to families. The new program, designed for children ages 5-12, is sponsored by Beloit Health System and Beloit Regional Hospice to help families cope with the diagnosis of cancer.

The program provided supportive tools to help children deal with a family member’s diagnosis of cancer and includes workbooks, tours and art projects. For more information, please call 608- 363-7421.
