"Since this is NorthPointe’s fifth Anniversary, we are offering our largest array of activities," comments Gus Larson, NorthPointe Campus Director. "We will offer some of our family favorites, like the horse drawn carriage rides and outdoor fire-roasted chestnuts, as well as a new opportunity to meet our orthopedic and sports medicine specialists between 5 and 7 p.m."
The Merry Prairie Luminary Walk is a half-mile paved outdoor walk around NorthPointe’s pond and waterfall. The paved path will be lined with over 500 glowing luminaries and the air will be filled with holiday music.
A holiday coloring opportunity is taking place right now for children up to the third grade. Coloring sheets can be picked up at NorthPointe or found in some of the area schools. The community room at NorthPointe will have all the artwork displayed in gallery formation during the December 7th event and winners will be named.
Horse-drawn carriage rides will be available starting at 3:30 p.m. until dusk, holiday music by Rob Tomaro starting at 4 p.m., the Cross and Crown Ringers at 5 p.m., and Ballroom Dance Showcase at 6:15 p.m. In addition, NorthPointe Wellness is offering 100% off the membership enrollment fee during the Open House, which can be up to a $300 savings on a family membership.
The celebration will include tasty refreshments and drawings for prizes. If you bring non-perishable food items for the Rockton Food Pantry to the event, you will earn extra entries to the prize drawings.
