NorthPointe Wellness has several activities planned in celebration of Women’s Health Week starting Monday, May 9. These activities are free and open to the public, as well as membership. Kristi Lambright, Director of NorthPointe Wellness encourages everyone to attend and learn new ways to stay healthy.
Monday, May 9- 6:30 p.m.- Dr. Russell Albert, OB/GYN with Beloit and NorthPointe Clinic will present "Stages of Changes", what changes women go through as they age. He will be available to answer your questions, as well.
Tuesday, May 10- 6:30 p.m.- Kitty Cole, MBA, CHHC, AADP will present " A Fit Woman is a Powerful Woman: Fitting You Well". Kitty is from All Seasons Running in Janesville and will discuss the best type of bras to wear during activity for all makes of bodies.
Wednesday, May 11- 6:00 p.m.- Dianne Myhre, Licensed Massage Therapist, will present "Taking Care of You: Benefits of a Spa Experience". Dianne will let you know the variety of services available at NorthPointe Spa and the benefits of these- from the traditional massage to the new Ashiatsu, Thai, and Cranial Sacral massages. Enter to win a $50 gift certificate by attending.
Friday, May 13- 6:00 p.m.- Jeannie Burke, Registered Dietician at NorthPointe Wellness, will present "Fight Cancer with Nutrition". Attend to find out the most up-to-date research on the important of nutrition to help fight cancer.
Also, Friday, May 13 is Ladies Guest Pass Day, so ladies are invited to attend a class or use the NorthPointe Wellness facilities exercise equipment for free that day.
