Beloit Health System is offering a great way to take care of your heart in 2016. The "Take it to Heart" Club is set up to inspire hope and improve the quality of life for heart patients and their families. The September meeting and speaker are set for Tuesday, September 20th at 7 p.m. in the Beloit Hospital auditorium with the topic of "Medications Don't Need to be Overwhelming".
Shelley Locke, Pharmacist, will review them most common cardiac medications and how they help your heart. Bring your medication list. Medication schedules will be provided at this meeting.
There is no cost to attend one of the group meetings and it is open for any heart patient, family member, friend, caretaker or community member. The ongoing group provides education, information, encouragement and the opportunity to meet others who are experiencing similar situations living with heart disease.
The meetings will continue with a group session and opportunities for questions or sharing of ideas. There will be additional meetings and topics in the upcoming months, so watch for upcoming meetings. For more information, call 608-364-5206.
