Annual Turkey Trot Returns to NorthPointe

Are you ready to do the trot? NorthPointe Health and Wellness in Roscoe will again host the 8th annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot on Thursday, November 24.  Join them for a 5K Run or a One Mile Run/Walk starting at 8:30 a.m. New this year will be the Tiny Trot for kids 5 and under which is free and starts at 8:15 a.m.

“This is a fun way to start the day and get your activity in before the big meal and football games,” says Kristi Lambright, Fitness Coordinator for NorthPointe Wellness. “The Turkey Trot is an event for people of all ages. This year we hope people will also bring a non-perishable food item to help us Pack the Pantry for others.”

Participants are asked to register before November 22.

There is no additional service free for registering online. On-site registration will be available at NorthPointe Wellness on Wednesday, November 23rd from 3-7 p.m.

The Trot entry fee is $12 per person before November 1. After that date, the cost increases to $15. 

There is a great sapphire blue sweatshirt hoodie with the logo that is available as an add-on at registration. There are discounts for the more people who register at once, so get your team together and make this your Thanksgiving tradition. NorthPointe is located at the southwest corners for Rockton and Willowbrook Roads in Roscoe.
