Volunteers Offer Scholarships to High School Seniors

Beloit Health System VIP’s (Volunteers in Partnership) are offering six $1,500 scholarships to students who are high school seniors and planning to major in a medical field. Applicants do not need to be an employee, or related to an employee of Beloit Health System Hospital or Clinic to apply.

These scholarships are funded through tips donated to the volunteer-staffed hospital "VIP Grille" and other fundraisers. Scholarships will be awarded to students from the following local high schools only and applications are available from their guidance counselors: Rock County Christian, Beloit Turner, South Beloit High, Beloit Memorial High School, Clinton High School and Hononegah High. Applications must be submitted by April 20 at 4 p.m. For more information, please call Linda at 608-364-5162.
