Pulmonary Rehab Center

Our Pulmonary Rehab Clinic offers a three-part, physician prescribed program for people who have chronic (on-going) breathing problems. Patients with chronic lung disease such as COPD, including asthma, chronic bronchitis and emphysema may be able to improve their overall quality of life through exercise conditioning and education. Pulmonary Rehab benefits patients who need lung surgery (before and after) and other diagnosis such as bronchiectasis, cystic fibrosis, interstitial lung disease.

Pulmonary Rehab includes:

  • Exercise condition training
  • Education and management of your lung disease or condition
  • Energy conserving and proper breathing techniques
  • Proper use of Respiratory medications
  • Small group setting

The program is designed to teach and help the participant to progress independently with their individual exercise plan. It is conveniently located on the 4th floor of Beloit Memorial Hospital, in the Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehab Center.
