At-Home Healthcare 2022 Patient Satisfaction Award of Distinction

For the sixth consecutive year, At-Home Healthcare has been awarded the Patient Satisfaction Award of Distinction by WellSky, formally known as Fazzi & Associates. As a service of Beloit Health System, At-Home Healthcare provides quality home health services in the comfort of your home. Based on a comparative analysis of agencies involved in WellSky’s Home Health CAHPS system for the past year, the results for the Overall Satisfaction or Likelihood of Recommending survey questions place Beloit Health System’s AtHome Health in the top 25% of WellSky’s National Home Health CAHPS database which demonstrates At-Home Healthcare’s superior performance.

Hospice Honors 2022 Award Recipient

Beloit Regional Hospice has been named a 2022 Hospice Honors recipient by HEALTHCAREfirst, a leading provider of billing and coding services, CAHPS surveys and advanced analytics. Hospice Honors is a prestigious program that recognizes hospices providing the highest level of quality as measured from the caregiver's point of view.

A Message from the President "Community Partner"- I am happy to announce the Health System received the Stateline YMCA's 2021 Community Partner Award at its Annual Meeting this week.

The award was given, "In honor of the Health System's dedication to building community and support to the Stateline Family YMCA and neighbors." In presenting the award, emphasis was placed on your heroic efforts for our Community over the last year in providing COVID care. Your dedication and sacrifice were recognized and appreciated.

We were proud to partner with the to offer free daycare options for your families when schools and other options shut down so you could provide the frontline care our Community needed. It was my honor to accept this award on your behalf. I continue to be humbled and proud of your commitment.

blackhawks2021 Blackhawk Technical College Community Partners Award

The Blackhawk Technical College Community Partners Award recognizes BHS for the outstanding support and significant contributions to the Nancy B. Parker Nursing Scholars Program at BTC and a vaccination partner to BTC la eligible employees.

"When all was said and done, their action saved lives, and minimized the impact of the pandemic on our college, and the regions workforce, keeping our community as healthy and safe as you could during this pandemic. The BHS Team stands front and center as a key resource for the community, we are so blessed for the partnership," stated Tracy Pierner, Ph.D., President, Blackhawk Technical College.

Lions Eye Bank Award

Beloit Health System is a recipient of the 2021 Crystal Vision Awards. Lions Eye Bank honors those who have shown commitment and dedication to raising awareness and education the community on the importance of organ, eye, and tissue donation.

Nationally Recognized Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade

Beloit Memorial Hospital has earned an “A” for providing safe and high-quality care to its patients from The Leapfrog Group, a nonprofit organization committed to driving quality, safety, and transparency into the U.S. health care system. With this distinction, Beloit Memorial Hospital joins an elite list of hospitals across the country that are providing the highest quality of patient care.

The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grades assign A, B, C, D and F letter grades to hospitals based on their commitment to reducing errors, infections, and accidents that can harm patients.
Developed under the guidance of an Expert Panel, the Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade uses 30 measures of publicly available hospital safety data to assign A, B, C, D, and F grades to more than 2,600 U.S. hospitals twice per year. It is calculated by top patient safety experts, peer-reviewed, fully transparent, and free to the public.

Joint Commission Accreditations

Beloit Memorial Hospital is an acute care facility fully accredited by the Joint Commission, the nation’s oldest and largest standards-setting and accrediting body in health care.

Advanced Joint Care Center

In addition, Beloit Health System it is the first health system in Wisconsin to earn The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Advanced Certification for Total Hip and Total Knee Replacement. The advanced certification is for Joint Commission-accredited hospitals, critical access hospitals, and ambulatory surgery centers seeking to elevate the quality, consistency, and safety of their services and patient care.

The Advanced Joint Care Center is a comprehensive program developed by a team of physicians, nurses, physical therapists, and other care professionals to educate, assist, and support patients having joint replacement surgery. The program features dedicated nursing, physical therapy and occupational therapy staff and gives patients the knowledge and the tools they need to make the transition back to their lives after joint replacement surgery as smooth as possible.

In addition, the Advanced Joint Care Center has met the high quality standards required for participation in the Quality Path program from The Alliance, a cooperative of 240 employers with self-funded health benefit plans for employees and family members.

Quality Path designation applies to the performance of doctors and hospitals when working together.

Advanced Primary Care Stroke Center

Beloit Health System was first certified as a Primary Stroke Center in 2014. Beloit Health System earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® and the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s Heart-Check mark for Advanced Certification for Primary Stroke Centers. The Gold Seal of Approval® and the Heart-Check mark represent symbols of quality from their respective organizations.

Get With the Guidelines Certification - Stroke Center

Beloit Memorial Hospital received the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s Get With The Guidelines®-Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award. The award recognizes the hospital’s success in ensuring stroke patients receive the most appropriate treatment according to nationally recognized research-based guidelines.

To receive the Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award, hospitals must achieve 85 percent or higher adherence to all Get with The Guidelines-Stroke achievement indicators for two or more consecutive 12-month periods and achieved 75 percent or higher compliance with five of eight Get With The Guidelines-Stroke Quality measures.

Beloit Memorial Hospital has also met specific scientific guidelines as a Joint Commission Certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center, featuring a comprehensive system for rapid diagnosis and treatment of stroke patients admitted to the emergency department.

Beloit Regional Hospice - Hospice Honors

Beloit Regional Hospice was named a 2017 Hospice Honors recipient by Deyta Analytics, a division of HEALTHCAREfirst, the leading provider of Web-based home health and hospice software, outsourced billing and coding services, and advanced analytics. Hospice Honors is a prestigious program that recognizes hospices providing the highest level of quality as measured from the caregiver’s point of view.

Beloit Health System was also awarded a 2015 Guardian of Excellence Award winner for outstanding performance in clinical quality by Press Ganey Associates.

This award recognizes our outstanding performance based on 39 clinical measures. We are one of only 17 health systems, out of 1,700 nationwide, to receive this recognition.
