Granting Wishes Program
As patients and families are experiencing end-of-life and all that it brings, priorities can shift. Everything often happens at once and some special events could be overlooked, but not at Beloit Regional Hospice, thanks to the Ken Hendricks Granting Wishes Fund.
Ken’s heartfelt belief in the specialized approach and feeling side of hospice, served as the driving force for this fund after his death. Beloit Regional Hospice was named the sole designee for his memorial donations, and soon after, the Ken Hendricks Granting Wishes Fund was formed. This endowment fund generates income to be used for special requests that support quality of life for patients & families of Beloit Regional Hospice and Palliative Care. The idea is to get to the heart of what’s really important to individuals at the end-of-life.
Requests are made by BRH staff on behalf of patients for things not traditionally provided in the scope of the delivery of care, and are approved by a committee of staff members.
