My journey into women’s health care began in nursing school when I fell in love with the raw beauty of childbirth. I then spent the next 20 years as a L&D RN caring for and supporting birthing people and their families during their transition into parenthood. Even after two decades of working with birthing people, I continue to be amazed by their strength during labor and birth! I am also an advocate for wellness and health promotion. I am passionate about giving people the opportunity to become active participants in their healthcare by providing them with the most up to date, evidence-based information. I feel that patients know what is best for themselves and strive to engage and empower them in their healthcare decisions. I graduated with my BSN from Purdue Calumet and then completed my MSN with Frontier Nursing University in 2020. I have spent the last three years working as a CNM with underserved populations in Milwaukee. It has been an honor and privilege to provide care to these vulnerable patients. I cherish the bonds that have developed during this time and very much look forward to creating new relationships with the Beloit community. Personal My hobbies include crocheting, reading, and enjoying time with my family. My children Paige, 20, and Dylan, 16, bring such joy to my life and I cherish the time I can spend with them. I am blessed to be married to an amazing man, Jason. He has been the rock of our family while I have been working in Milwaukee. We will be celebrating 25 years of wedded bliss in February 2024.
