Support Groups

Support groups are part of the commitment we have for our community to find a healthy way and are provided at no cost to participants.

Alzheimer's Support Group for Caregivers

 Meets at Sun Valley Presbyterian Church on the 2nd and 4th  Tuesday of the month from 1 – 2:30 p.m., 1650 Sun Valley Drive, Beloit. Call 608.741.3600 for more information.   

Lymphedema Support Group

Ostomy Support Group

The Ostomy Support Group provides a local source of information. Their purpose is to encourage and maintain an exchange of ideas and methods for promotion of rehabilitation. Please call 608.363.5705 for more information.

Pie and Coffee Series (Skills Based Therapy Group designed for adults 65 years and older)

The group focuses on identifying and addressing issues, challenges, and difficulties with effectively managing this phase of life, realizing that this phase is just as important as any other phase of life. The group typically meets the second Friday of the month in the Petersen Room located in the Counseling Care Center on the 2nd floor of the hospital. Please register at least 48 hourse in advance by calling 608.364.5686. Most insurances accepted.

Stroke Support Group

For those with physical or cognitive disability. Call 608.364.5203.

Transgender Support Group

Support group for adults ages 18+ who identify as Transgender. Group provides support around your experience, relationships, transitioning, transphobia, safety, sexuality, coming out, etc. Group meets every third Tuesday from 5:30 – 7 p.m. at the hospital's Carter Room. For further information call the Counseling Care Center at 608.364.5686.

Walking Warriors Cancer Support Group

Cancer support group for those with cancer or their loved ones that meets the 4th Wednesday of the month at 5:30 p.m. at the Beloit Cancer Center, 1670 Lee Lane, Beloit. For more information call 608.364.5253.
