This group will focus on the following concepts: discovery of your child's strengths, developmental ages and stages, feelings expression-listening and validation, natural and logical consequences, importance of consistency and follow through, creative problem solving, appropriate use of time out, other forms of limit setting, and creating family fun. This will be an 8 week group for parents of children and adolescents. Group will meet at the Beloit Health System Counseling Care Center on the 2nd floor of the hospital. Group meets the 2nd Friday of each month from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Occupational Health, Sports and Family Medicine Center, 1650 Lee Lane, Beloit. Pie, coffee and tea are served. We focus topics on enjoying and meeting the challenges of this phase of life. The group is facilitated by Sally Greer, Psychotherapist, Counseling Care Center.
