Inpatient Cooks to join our team. You will play a vital role in caring for our patients
and staff by taking part in providing delicious, nutritious meals to admitted
patients, staff and visitors in our West Hart Café.
This position will:
Prep and prepare meals for patients and employees
Bake rolls, cookies and cakes
Plate up food on patient try line
Complete assigned cleaning duties
Required:
Strong communication skills to communicate with nursing and co-workers
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
An attitude of warmth and personal interest in work
Preferred:
High School Diploma or equivalent
ServSafe Certification
Knowledge of therapeutic diets in a hospital/skilled care setting
Experience preparing modified consistencies in food preparation.
